THAT'S. THAT'S FAIR

Sheena shakes off the praise, numb - what does it matter? They hadn't done anything but make Sin angrier, if that was a thing it could be. She tries to pull herself to her feet, but can't, falling unceremoniously back down before she even gets far. That's fine. It's not important, right now. She pulls her knees to her chest instead, leans a little against Zelos without even thinking about it, unable to look away from Sin.

As they wait, the crew begins to sing.

It's just one midshipman at first, voice uneven and unsteady as they lift it in the hymn, but the others quickly join in. It's somber in a way that she's never heard it before, almost hushed as they watch Sin make violent contact with Kilika. Sheena joins in too after a moment, her voice low and hoarse from screaming.
