Lloyd laughs anxiously, dropping his wrist and casting a flickering glance at Kratos, no less calmed down by desperately attempting to keep face. "Ahaha, nah, you're fine. It's - it's a new thing. You couldn't have known, even if it wasn't, but -"

Clearing his throat, Lloyd averts his eyes again, pulling out his tools for the nth time so he can have an excuse to look away and calm himself down. "It's, uh. I got into a bad fight with someone stronger than me," an angel with four thousand years of fighting experience, also his father, "and they, um." He pauses, bites at his lip, and begins carving out of the corner of the block. "They got me pretty good, heh."

The breath of air he releases could barely count as a laugh, but he'll take it anyways. He forces a fake grin to his face, trying to make the air lighter even though it's crushing him where he sits. He can't tell the truth, but he can't lie, either. "Grabs get me. Sudden grabs, I guess. But I'm alright. I just gotta learn to deal with it. Thanks, though, for the consideration," and he turns to look at Kratos again, offers him a smaller, a little more sincere smile. "I appreciate it."
