(mithos voice) LET ME OUT, LET ME OUUUUUUUU

Dormancy is boring, in all honesty. Not that it can be avoided. Mithos has to do checks, make sure his core is functioning properly at a fraction of the power it's been using for decades, now. It's... kind of empty, honestly. He misses the warmth of Martel's ghost in his veins.

It's alright, though. It's only for a little while. They'll save the rest of her from Sylvarant, reunite her shards, and then she and Mithos can form a loop through Kratos, just like before.

Just like before.

Mithos runs through the checks one more time, making sure his core is functioning properly, making sure all the old pathways for resonance haven't completely atrophied. It all looks fine.

He pings the outside network to get Kratos' attention. Waits. The response isn't immediate, which is somewhat strange, but Mithos supposes there are any number of reasons Kratos could be busy at the moment. Perhaps the safer, smarter thing to do would be to wait until he feels Kratos' ether brush his core crystal again, but Mithos has always been impatient.

He pings again, and again, and again, waiting.
