Look, Kratos is aware that as far as meaningful interactions go, sitting in the same room as your brother teaches your kids how to sign barely counts as one. But he's having a good time. He really is. Maybe it's just because no one's expecting him to interact at length, maybe it's because it feels normal after the hellhole of bad that yesterday was. Either way, it's a nice hour or so they spend drilling letters, which is going to only be useful if no one has pen and paper on hand, but it's only day one of lessons, so. Maybe they'll get somewhere if they keep at this for a few months, but Kratos isn't sure how long they'll all be traveling together.

He's not sure Lloyd and Sheena even have an idea of how they intend to get home...? He'll have to ask about that. Later. It'd be too difficult a converastion to have, right now. And likely not one anyone wants to think about, either, not now.

Especially considering Sheena has yet to put Zelos' core crystal down.
