Honestly, if the dreamspace wasn't so merciful, even during repairs, Zelos would probably be in pain right now and probably also angrier. But as it stands right now, Sheena's a welcome enough sight that the giddiness of her side of the emotional bleed crashes into the shores of Zelos' chest, a grin threatening with breaking the grumpy glare he's got set on his face instead. It comes out as a loopsided smirk as he holds onto his driver instead, relishing in the newfound wholeness of their resonance once again.
Sheena's a mess of words and thoughts and emotions, and, honestly, Zelos has to fondly breathe out a laugh to smooth the irregularities of their emotional bleed. "I mean," he says, rolling his eyes, "you're in my dreamspace. Last I checked, only the driver of an Aegis could access that. So, yes, I am back." He shrugs, gesturing with one hand around them. "Or at least, soon to be back. I'm still running some last minute repairs, but... yeah."
Zelos then waits a moment, eyes softening as he regards his driver again, and smiles. "I didn't have any problems reconfiguring. You... You kept it safe, huh?"
HE STILL WAS DEAD AND SO WAS I
